Life is continuous learning process

I would say that the first day of Bersatu Games is sumhow not what we expected for...the weather wasn't on our side...so changes to the schedule and venue were made...but kudos to all WMSO committees, u all did the best, n in the end we are still on top of our schedule..

life is about learning...we are humans, not a god...so we have no control over everthing...so dun be disgusted...dun go down without a fight, just stand up and stay on top of ur game.

one thing i learn from being the President last year is there is no certainty in wut u manage...management is not sumthing u learn thru reading books...it comes from ur experience and ur instinct...so take disasters or failures as a learning process...just stay calm...think abt ur mistakes in the past n present..n use it to overcome ur future en devours...

some may say that last years events for WMSO weren't as tough as managing Bersatu Games... I would agree with that to a certain extend...but what you all didn't know was how much effort the committees and members has done to make the event a success one...the main problem for last years Mfest was that we started late....but in the end, one thing that make the event a success one was basically because of one thing....good delegations of work...good management style....mainly because the leaders hears what others were saying...and they delegate their job well to others...we have only 10 fingers, 2 eyes and 2 ears..dun expect one person can do everything...we need each other like how we need friends....

to all future leaders of WMSO....just a word of advice....think before u act..set ur priorities and follow it...and the last thing...advice from knysh which she gave me rite after i got the position.... "hear wut other say...use ur ears to listen"....that advice really helps me alot last year....leaders have to be open minded in accepting ppls opinion...

so WMSO!!! ....the 1st day was not so good...but the day after that would not be the same...fight on till the end......

1st day of bersatu..

7am, welly: weather 7degrees, feels like 1degrees, 4 layers of clothes to remain comfortable, strong gale, heavy rain, wind 130km/h (Metservice)

waaaargggh.. gilos.. n d weather remained like dat d whole day. so we played netball in the rain n wind..gile bukan? it was really tough.. n to other contingents tu, we tak penah main dlm ujan ok..so jgn la cakap dat cuz we are d host so paksa semue org main dlm ujan..cmon la..nk buat mcm mane kan..kiterang pun tak nak la ok main dlm ujan..sejokkk..dh jadual camtu..we have to follow..kang sia2 plak korg2 ni yg dtg..hmm..

anyway..we didnt get into semis diz year..luck wasnt on our side..its ok.. d wind was so strong smpi slalu menolak bola dr masuk goal..haha.. its ok..i think our team did great with the crazy weather.. so adek2 ku..rampas la kembali takhta champion kat bersatu taun dpn ye..probably in auckland..we won in aucklan in 2005..so make 2009 another year to remember!

but i really dont like ppl makin assumptions..haih..be realistic sket la.. ade yg ckp oh wmso nk sgt menang..so kiterang bg jek la..ceh..we played our best..kalu korg jek yg tak dpt defend ke ape ke its not our problem..is it? (its my blog..so i say wat i want to..ngeh ngeh.. =p)
dan juge kepada players yg menggunakan 'asset2' masing tu..tlg la jgn over. nasib jek referee tak nmpk..kalu tak mmg kene dah..hoho..

btol la kene bace ikrar bersatu tu tiap2 ari..cakap jek nk bersatu tp 1st day jek trus gado.keke..

well touch n badminton received d same nasib as netball..its ok guys..unlucky day tuk wmso..3 more days to go! HOH! just play ur best n have fun..

wahh..im free..free.. FREEE!! woohoo.. finished my proposal only around 7.35am this morning and i sent it to jack black for review hoping that he could give me some feedbacks before submitting it to keitha... lps hantar trus tdo..fuh.. felt bad for not able to go to our last netball practice this morning..sorry la adek2, tdo kol 7.35 mmg tak bleh la nk bgn tuk gi netball by 11am..haha..if tak tdo, i'll be like a zombie playing netball..takpe, i know we'll do our best this sunday! huhu

so yeah, jack black is happy with wat ive done and he gave few comments..so i edited my proposal and submit! yey! felt so relieved! now boleh lepakkkk..smpi la abes cuti.. wpun cuti ni tak gi mane2, lepak2 di welly is more than enough.. all i know i just wana get away for a proper holidayy right after honours finishes..pergi mane? *rahsia* ngeh ngeh..

kehangatan bersatu semakin terasa..tmrw will be the opening ceremony. we have to perform arus tmrw and this year it is called 'Arus Bersatu'. haha.. steps will be a bit different and so are the dancers. hope everything goes well tmrw ;)

Some things are better left unsaid

Do you believe that some things are better left unsaid? Would it be a problem if we be open and express our feelings to others? Do you think that keeping ur problem to urself to be beneficial to u?
Would it be a problem to overcome ur problem face to face? why are some people afraid to do that?

Proposal

Progress on my proposal is soooo slowww.. i tot i kinda know what im goin to write but it is actually harder.haih..been reading the 308 assignments to choose which companies i would want to interview next sem. they are all very good essays, impressive. i think my 308 essay last year was soo uninteresting..haha.. lupe sbenarnye essay pasal ape..ekekke..

anyway, jack black is only free on wednesday. so this gives me more time to get my proposal together or maybe just ideas to discuss with him. i just want to get it over with!! cant wait to be freeeee.. n enjoy the temporary holidayyy before facing the dreadful 2nd semester..huhu..

currently, my schoolmates are all uploading school pic and taging everybody..it's funny to see all those school pic..dengan semua org gelap, muka berminyak time sports..n ade satu gmbr tu ade my fren dh jd artis and ade yg dh kawen.. hahaha..lawak..i miss school days.. well, facebook has helped all of us to reunite thru the pictures..siap ade gmbr time skolah rendah ok! ahha..if only im at home then i can dig all the pic and scan it thru.. but too bad la im here, takde gmbr lame2 with me.. hmm maybe i could post some pic from intec..keke..later lah..

I miss my weekends :(

Weekends, time to relax, time to enjoy, and certainly not the time to look at books...been missin on my wonderful weekend for almost 6 months.....huhuhu.....

the enjoyment of going out on thursday, friday, and saturday night..looking at the night life of a small city called wellington...but wut to do...like wut my mom always say to me..study comes first...enjoyment comes later....

but hmmm...when can i have my full enjoyment???????? dun even have time anymore to play around wit my toys.... sedeynye...camera lame ddk dlm beg...tak on sumtimes seminggu...i read sumwhere...camera boleh rosak wooooo...but again wut to do...the books and assignments has a more dominance power...mcm ala2 critical theorist la

But at least yesterday, i have a wonderful night out wit my housemates plus nanee, sue and atong-a.....we went for dinner in Cinta...coffee at espressoholic then pool at ballroom (lama bangat sey tak main pool)...tp one thing...org kat ballroom tanye ID...burn sungguh..tak penah2 kene tanye..ni kene tanye...mesti sbb rambut tak ckp panjang, misai pendek and janggut takde..hmmm kene simpan la rambut misai n janggut..kalau tak nmpk muda sgt...kekekekeke

another thing...i went for volley training for bersatu...for so long rasenye tak kuar peluh best cm 2 hari ni...bila tido mlm2 pun rase mcm best...badan segar..otak cergas...so ape lg...korang2 yg dok rumah tu, pg la bersukan sakan...best wooo....mcm makan nasi ayam mancongkam...LOL!...

thx to all the players yg dtg for training...with the hardwork, i certainly think we can go far in bersatu...the main thing, just enjoy the game..jgn tension2...

ckp pasal sukan...i just bought nintendo wii...yey!!...so boleh bersukan kat rumah..rakan2 yg nk bersukan meh la dtg 2/243 the terrace...kita buat party...pastu boleh makan2...buat potluck..yey! nk mkn lodeh...lodeh sedap...hehehhehe...

ok la..since its my first post..n i think my post ni cm boring..tak reti nk memblogin lg...so ill end it here...gudluck to all bersatu committees..really hope this bersatu will be the best out of my 4 years in nz....one good advice...smile, chill and dun be tension in handling the event...i hope by now all the management of bersatu has been finalize....n i think all of you have work hard in making the event the successful one...so what ever happens, dun go down...and if u slip, just stand up again...learn from ur experience...thats all that matters in the world of management...

was watching 21 with ayer last nite, best2. supposed to sleep after dat, but cant sleep. i think my sleeping pattern dh start giler balek..cam nk pagi br la bleh tdo, dah la ade netball ngn abe shen, so kene la pergi. adeh. yeah so i woke up quite late, makan brunch bar trus gi netball. i knew that mesti nnt cam pengsan half way sbb mamai n tak ckup rest..haha..btol pun..dh la kene lari 5 full courts..3 tenis courts, so lps lari je i felt like vomiting..isk isk..rest skejap den continue playing. i think like we played full game for almost an hour.fuh penat gak la menjage shooter mat salleh. dh la tinggi dan bdn besar. kalu terlanggar dia, i yg jatuh.heh..

overall, i think we've improved, need bit more training for communication cuz ya byk new players jugak kan. so kenelah biasekan diri main together. all my team mates from 2005 are no longer playing with me =( 3/4 of the teams are juniors..terase diri sgt tua =p kekeke..well, i know adek2 ku sgt hebat belaka, so hope we can do it diz time despite the fact that we're in the tougher group. takpe, WMSO BOLEH!!

anyway, for the first time in 4 years my bday wont fall during bersatu.. n its finally in welly.yeay! slalu mesti kat tpt2 lain..balek welly semua pun cam dh lupe sbb penat bersatu =( huhu..hikhik..

speaking of bdays, td we went for dinner at cinta with the 243 guys and sue to celebrate kurt's bday. Happy bday kurt! lepak at coffee and atong joined..terase lame plak tak mengopi. then we went for pool. another activity dah berzaman tak buat..haha..it was funny and fun..

alrite..i'll try and start my proposal tmrw kot while having a day off from netball. just hope im rajin enough..haha..still feel physically and mentally tired..hmm..ok till laterzzz.. tatazzz!

exam abes dahh..

just got back from our last exam. exam yg sgt giler ok! questions sgt KEL! haha. dont really understand what the questions want especially the statistics! exam accy tp soklan stats..bleh? ngok to the ngek btol lah..bace soklan pun dh lame, nk belek2 buku lagi pastu nk tulis lagi.ergh. sgt tension sbb duduk sbelah 'ketua darjah' cuz by 5pm dia cam dh abes dah tulis n tgh check2 his answer. by 5pm i was just about to write the answers for my last question ok..haha..

soo, in a way i felt relieved cuz no more exams..hooray! i hate exams!..so i can consider that sem 1 of hons is over..the proposal due next friday tu pun is based on our project for next sem.

the amount of work just in this first sem is definitely more than my 3years of undergrad put together which caused a lot of mental and emotional stress!! the knowledge? hmm..in a way..the more we learn, the more confuse it gets..so the more we dont know! so wats the point of hons again? haha.. at least mmg we got exposed to a lot..a looottt of current issues or problems surrounding accy..mcm malas jek nk jadi accountant nanti =p

i went to meet 'jack black' last wed to discuss some of the issues surrounding CSR, my possible topic for next sem's project. he seemed very interested in this topic and gave me some pointers. he even offered to help with my proposal..haha.. so baik hati.. he also gave me the top 45 Accy 308 assigments for me to look thru cuz it is related to my topic.. terase cam tutor plak =p But I'm not sure if he will become my supervisor cuz ramai jek students nk dia. tapi takpelah..at least he is helping me now. I hope to finish d proposal before friday but i dono if its possible knowing that i will have netball and arus practices..bersatu is nearing! hoho.. tapi.. tak salah pun berazam kan? ;)
